Life (2017)

“To my way of thinking there is every bit as much evidence   for the existence of UFOs as there is  for the existence of God probably far more  at least in the case of UFOs there have been countless  taped and filmed and by the way  unexplained sightings   from all over the world along with documented radar evidence seen by experienced military  and civilian radar operators this is not even begin to include the widespread testimony of not only highly trained experienced military and civilian pilots who are selected for their jobs in part for their above-average   eyesight and mental stability but  also of equally well trained experienced law enforcement officers such  pilots and law   enforcement people  are known   to be serious sober individuals who would  have a lot to lose were they to be associated  with anything resembling kooky outlandish beliefs nonetheless   they have   taken the risk of revealing their experiences because they are convinced they have seen something real that they consider important.”

Mark Kishon: Christopher:
“From the images that you saw, of a life of a cell; Those images were seen by people over a hundred years ago. Who created optical microscopes that are able to penetrate cell membrane and enter that world- that universe.

But for some reason, none of you have access to an optical microscope to respect the function of the cells. There’s a reason for that:
Because, under international maritime law, All of you are dead. YOU ARE DEAD.
You have been dead for a very long time.

AND NO DEAD PERSON WILL EVER SEE LIFE, EVER HEAR LIFE, WILL NEVER SPEAK OF LIFE. YOU WILL NEVER MAKE CONTRACT WITH EACH OTHER, AND YOU SHALL MAKE NO CONTRACT OR A COVENANT WITH YOUR GOD.

That is the world that you live in. How it is done is with the use of language.”

“Life” is a shitty horror movie. and a degenerate movie by all means. A gruesome terror that fails to follow logic. It was the most outrageously disgusting film.i’ve watched in 2017.

We see inability of NASA to organize its crew; to maintain steady communication on a multi-million dollar spacecraft, that it would send a crippled, incompetent scientist into space, while he could make a complete job at the ground.
The alien form we are shown clearly violates the laws of physics.
I would even say- with such characteristics, this creature is god-like by definition.
It can go into hyper-sleep mode. It has total resistance to uber-extreme temperature toss.
It makes energy out of everything it makes a choice to.

All who watched “Life” got injected with the fear of what’s out there, because it infected the subconscious of the audience. Even if we’re not alone in the galaxy, they would have the masses convinced it’s better the way things are right now.

IMHO there are other life forms outside our part of the galaxy.
What we really should address is “consciousness forms of life”.

In any case, i think that our cultures have cultivated the wrong worldview on this matter; we obsess with the physical appearance of those guests, the climax contact, the overwhelming possibility to try to fuck one of their species.

It would be for us too noble to collectively, constantly re-imagine ourselves to appeal to a higher galactic standard. Seems like a useless thought.
Instead we prefer to marvel on how superior we are to our fellow apes.

To sum it up- it is not the possibility that matters, not the imagination nor the consideration at all. The effort to reach them is not as important, in my view, as the priority to set a humane goal to parallel our collective and single decisions, actions to parallel those of another, be it even fictitious, “competitors”.
